At AI Week 2026 I had the pleasure to speak with Llion Jones, one of the authors of “Attention Is All You Need”, the scientific work that gave birth to the Transformer, the architecture behind ChatGPT, Gemini, and modern generative AI.
Talking with someone who helped lay these foundations is a reminder: AI is no longer a technology of the future. It is the strategic infrastructure of the present. And that changes what we need to do today.
As I often say:
